Home to Genstar’s corporate headquarters, Southern California represents a diverse portfolio, spanning suburban infill neighborhoods, large master planned developments, and multifamily apartments.
GDC Communities has been an active participant in San Diego (1,400+ units), greater Los Angeles (475+ units) and the Inland Empire (1,700+ units). Investments include the direct purchases of distressed real estate and partnering with builders to construct homes throughout the region.
In 2022, GDC Communities expanded operations with select partners to construct apartments across Southern California and establish a long-term income portfolio. The first apartment deliveries in 2025 mark a strategic shift to position this asset class as an integral portion of our future business.
